Flow rates from 0.80 to 8 GPM at pressures from 50 to 1000 PSI
The D12 Hydra-Cell™ Pump is a powerful positive displacement pump capable of flow rates from 0.80 to 8 GPM at pressures up to 1,000 PSI. These pumps were specifically designed to replace vertical multistage centrifugal pumps installed on CNC machining centers. Vertical multistage centrifugal pumps have mechanical seals that are prone to wear and costly to replace. In addition the centrifugal action can contribute to foaming of water based machine tool coolants.
Contrast that to the D12 pump which provides a non-shearing, smooth flow, capable of pressures much higher than multistage centrifugal pumps - in a more compact size and with more efficiency.
To the right is a picture of a D12 installed on a small coolant reservoir which is fed by a little centrifugal pump. In many instances our pumps can be installed into or tapped into the machining centers' coolant reservoir.

Most of the OEM's that manufacture higher pressure coolant delivery systems either standardize on Hydra-Cell™ pumps or offer them as an option. A basic high pressure coolant delivery system to deliver 5-6 GPM at 1,000 PSI, including filter housings, can be purchased for less than $3,750, not including a separate coolant reservoir, if required.
