D03 Hydra-Cell™ Pumps have a steady state accuracy of ±1% with a repeatability and linearity to 3% or better, and therefore they are often used as a high capacity metering pumps. Its' high volumetric efficiencies combined with a huge selection of metallic and non-metallic materials of construction enable us to meter slurries, acids and critical additives with superior reliability.
Most "traditional" metering pumps with an external stroke adjustment are a simplex or duplex design which develop a significant loss starting and stopping the fluid. The D03 Pump has three diaphragms making them virtually pulsation free, limiting acceleration head and increasing NPSHa contributes to a smoother, more accurate metering system.
These pumps are available with a 56C compatible hollow shaft, creating a really compact pump package. For the ultimate in portability for washing applications, sampling applications or portable evaporative cooling systems, there's the M23, which is attached to a 5HP Honda Engine. You'll find D03's throughout the chemical metering industry, on farms for fertilizer dosing and hydro-seeding, greenhouse humidification, evaporative cooling and special effects for companies such as Disney Imagineering.
The D03 series pumps are available with both metallic and non-metallic pump ends and are usually 1/4 of the cost for an equivalent American Lewa, Milton Roy or LMI metering pumps.
